Easter fun

I just couldn't resist the temptation to create something fun for Easter this year. Naturally, my family deemed me responsible for dessert this year, making sure to toss in the specific request for cupcakes. So, I got busy thinking of cute ideas that would almost be too adorable to eat...and here's what I came up with! My Vanilla Va-Va Voom cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. The bunnies were decorated with marshmallow ears with pink sugar and pastel chocolate candies for the eyes and noses. A little shredded coconut totally would have added to the "fuzzy bunny" look but, unfortunately, no one in my family likes coconut (besides me!)
The baby chicks had miniature chocolate chip eyes and buttercream details. Enjoy!
