The Blushing Berry

What better way to welcome spring than with a sweet and fluffy strawberry cupcake made with locally grown berries? The Blushing Berry was made for a co-worker's last day, so I made them extra special with the frozen puree of the sweet strawberries my husband picked last summer. I topped them off with a frilly layer of vanilla bean buttercream frosting and a drizzle of homemade strawberry sauce and some with pink sugar sprinkles...I've officially earned the title of "little Suzie Homemaker" at work, but my family calls me "Little Debbie". I'll take those as compliments of course! ;)
