Country Chic Shower

My little cousin is getting married next month! Her theme is "country chic" which is evidently all the rage on Pinterest lately. I created the cupcake stand to match her theme which incorporates burlap and lace. I added in some burlap and twine roses and I think it turned out to be adorable! We went with vanilla and strawberry cupcakes with pretty little rosettes to adorn the tops. The shower was beautiful and so was my cousin. Congrats L!

Snickerdoodle Cupcakes

Long time, no cupcakes! Here in Indiana it can't decide whether it wants to be full blown summer (70+ degrees) or winter (40s) so we go from windows open and shorts, to heat on and fleece blankets! For some reason these cupcakes were calling to me and they did not disappoint.
A velvety vanilla butter cupcake with just the right warm balance of cinnamon topped with a perfectly balanced brown sugar cinnamon buttercream. The brown sugar in the buttercream adds a slight crunch reminiscent of the infamous Snickerdoodle cookie itself. These are great to curl up with when it's chilly out or even when it's warm! A must try.

Happy Halloween!

It's that time of year again to create "spook-tacular" treats for all the boys and ghouls ;)
This year I made minis that were sure to captivate the 'sweet fang' of Dracula himself. Let's call these my "bitten" cupcakes. Devil's food cupcakes, sweet vanilla buttercream and raspberry "blood". I'd say that's better than candy!

Cookie Dough Truffles

Who doesn't love cookie dough? But the risk of eating the raw eggs can sometimes be a buzzkill! So, why not have your dough and eat it too? That's why I made these egg-less cookie dough truffles. Cookie dough dipped in a chocolate coating, these delightful treats were the first thing to go on the dessert table!

Key (Lime) to My Heart

With this incredibly hot summer weather, a cool tropical treat is always in order. That's why I transformed a traditional key lime pie into cupcake form. Introducing the Key (Lime) to My Heart. A soft, moist key lime cream cupcake with a sweet, tart key lime cream cheese frosting and crumbled graham on top. If you love key lime, this is the cupcake for you!

Spring treats!

A bit belated, but here are some fabulous Easter treats I whipped up this year. These insanely addictive sugar cookie bars are topped with homemade vanilla buttercream and sprinkles. The leftovers from Easter were taken to work where I was promptly scolded for bringing such addictive treats to the office! The girls couldn't help but eat 2-3 in a day! I have to agree, these will definitely be a new holiday staple, but anytime of year would do, too. :)

Minis are here!

Although the cupcakes were small, the occasion was not! We celebrated my grandpa Jack's 90th birthday with a large party of friends and family for this lively social butterfly!

I have to say in this instance, grandpa Jack and his spunk probably did outshine the yummy cupcakes :)

For any occasion, large or small, mini cupcakes are a perfect compliment! For mini cupcake pricing, contact me!
